Bridge to Dreams Summer Program (Inaugural Program, 8 weeks)

Program Benefits:

  • Program completion can serve as a student’s resume builder

  • Networking opportunities with graduate students from a prestigious university

  • Introduction to the Dream Project’s annual mentoring and scholarship programs

  • $250 stipend per mentee to support associated costs with college applications

Qualifications to become A Mentee:

  • Must be enrolled in a Virginia High school

  • Must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale

  • Born outside the United States and whose immigration status (undocumented, DACA, TPS, or asylum applicant) creates barriers to success in college

Fall Mentoring Program

You cannot achieve your aspirations alone. We pair Virginia high school seniors with mentors who support them as they explore their educational options, apply for college, seek scholarships, and develop their own personal and professional networks. The Dream Project mentoring program runs from mid-September to May.

Mentees are students who:

  • will be seniors at a Virginia high school in fall 2024

  • demonstrate a strong desire to attend college; and

  • face challenges in accessing higher education due to immigration status

Fall Mentoring Program (CTE Track)
