During these challenging times, taking care of our emotional well-being is vital. The Dream Project has partnered with the Center for Psychological Services (CPS) to cover the cost of eight individual telehealth sessions for students. Get confidential, professional help with depression, anxiety, chronic stress, eating disorders, and other mental health issues.

Computer Aid
A reliable computer is essential for college. If you’re a Dream Project Scholar whose computer is on the fritz, check with your school technology office to diagnose the problem and get an estimate for the repair. The Dream Project will collaborate with you to solve the problem, either by paying for the repairs or providing you with a refurbished computer.

HERMAN LOAN FUND
The Herman Loan Fund was established with the generous support of The Molly and Joseph Herman Foundation to provide interest-free loans to Dream Project Scholars who demonstrate a high level of need as a result of an emergency such as an outstanding tuition balance. These funds are disbursed directly to the respective college or university. Learn more about the fund here.

LEgal Referral
At the Dream Project, we understand that navigating the legal system can be complex and intimidating. The Dream Project is dedicated to providing our scholars with access to quality legal information and resources. As part of our efforts to achieve this goal, we offer referrals for a free consultation with volunteer attorneys on our Dream Project Board. These referrals are available to anyone who is a Dream Project Scholar or Alum of our programs.

Sharing Our Stories
At the Dream Project, Sharing our stories is a six-week workshop that offers a supportive space for connection, reflection, and healing through personal storytelling. Guided by facilitator Lizbeth Moses, small groups meet weekly for 75 minutes to explore challenges and strengths using creative prompts in poetry, art, and writing. Participants are encouraged to share at their own pace, fostering resilience, community, and a sense of belonging.
While designed as a six-week program, participants may choose to continue meeting through Sharing Our Stories gatherings for students who have already completed the initial workshop, creating opportunities for sustained support and connection beyond the six-week program.

Guided by Belinda Passafaro, Dream Project Case Manager and Senior Consultant, this gathering offers an inclusive and confidential environment where participants are provided with tools and wellness strategies, along with the opportunity to practice mindfulness and build meaningful connections with one another.
