The Dream Project Scholarship
Affording college is daunting for anyone. Your immigration status should not dictate your academic achievement. We understand the unique complexities faced by DACA or TPS recipients, asylum seekers, and students with undocumented status. The Dream Project offers a $3,500 scholarship, renewable annually for up to five years.
Eligibility criteria for new Scholars:
Application Opens: January 2, 2025
Application Deadline: February 1, 2025
Recipients Notified: April 1, 2025
Graduated or will graduate from a Virginia high school
Born outside the United States and whose immigration status (undocumented, DACA, TPS, or asylum applicant) creates barriers to success in college
Plans to enroll full-time in an accredited two- or four-year university in the United States
Eligibility criteria for renewing Scholars:
Maintains a minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
Sustains good progress towards timely graduation
Attends a minimum of two Dream Project events
Other requirements outlined in award letter

SIGN UPCareer & Technical Education (CTE) Scholarship
The Dream Project CTE Scholarship is an annual renewable scholarship awarded to immigrant students whose career goals align with post-secondary education focused on the applied skills needed for a specific craft/profession. CTE Scholarship recipients will be chosen based on how they demonstrate interest in their planned profession, work ethic, community involvement, and resilience.

Application Deadline: March 31, 2025
Recipients Notified: May 1, 2025
