Name a Scholarship. Change a Life.

A Named Scholarship is more than a gift — it is an act of belief in a student's potential and their right to pursue higher education. Each one tells a story. Each one changes a life.

What Your Named Scholarship Does

A gift of $5,000 or more helps support one scholar for one year — contributing toward tuition costs, along with the mentoring, college coaching, and wraparound support that set Dream Project scholars on the path to success.

Named scholarships require a four-year commitment, meaning your investment compounds into years of impact.

Establish a scholarship in:

  • Memory or honor of a loved one
  • The name of your family
  • The name of your company or foundation
  • The name of your faith community or organization

Named Scholarship donors receive:

  • A personal connection to your scholar, including updates on their milestones, progress, and journey
  • An invitation to the annual Scholarship Awards Celebration
  • Recognition in the Dream Project’s annual report and donor list
  • Invitations to community gatherings, policy briefings, and salon conversations with community leaders
Dream Project scholarships support students who have graduated from, or are seniors at, a Virginia high school and have demonstrated the ability to overcome challenges resulting from their immigration status.
