Volunteer
The Dream Project is more than a scholarship fund; it’s a supportive community. We are always looking for dedicated individuals to collaborate with us. We have opportunities for all levels of involvement.

Become a Mentor!
Mentors invest in Northern Virginia high school seniors to equip them for college. The mentorship program includes Tuesday evening virtual meetings during the school year (September through April) and regular communication between mentors and mentees.
Other Ways of Getting Involved
-
Volunteer at an event
Our organization originated with a handful of zealous parents coordinating a food fundraiser. Events are part of our organization’s DNA. We host numerous events that celebrate and fund our Scholars. Whether you’d like to serve on a planning committee, solicit sponsors, pitch in with set-up, or create materials, we’d love to get you connected.
-
Translate Documents
Language barriers often prevent students and their families from accessing the resources they need. Share your language expertise by translating materials into a language you know.
-
Review Scholarships
Our paperwork is personal! Our scholarship applications contain the stories of area students seeking assistance. Help us identify and interview the outstanding students who will be part of our program. Volunteer to score written applications or interview applicants.
-
Lend a Hand in the Office
We are committed to pouring as much of our donations into students as possible. Volunteers pitch in with data entry, mailings, stuffing envelopes, and other administrative tasks.
Your Donation Makes Dreams a Reality.
Through your donation, you come alongside our Scholars on their academic journey as they tread new paths, overcome institutional obstacles, and create fresh opportunities.
