Why Support the Dream Project?

Your support gives immigrant students the financial foundation to pursue higher education—and see it through to graduation.

For hundreds of immigrant students across Virginia, the Dream Project bridges the gap between potential and opportunity. Through scholarships and a powerful community of support, we help students overcome barriers to higher education and build the futures they envision.

As the political climate grows increasingly uncertain and barriers to higher education continue to rise, Dream Project’s work has never been more critical.

  • Increasing scholarships to 200 Full-Tuition awards annually
  • Expanding to DOUBLE our current scholarship capacity

  • Make a Gift—Once or Recurring

    Give any amount to support our General Scholarship Fund and Emergency Relief Fund, covering both tuition and the everyday essentials—housing, food, and transportation—that keep students on track to graduate.

  • Named Scholarships

    Create a scholarship in your name, through your company, or in honor of someone special. Named scholarships help fund tuition while connecting your legacy to the success of Dream Project scholars.

  • Dream Circle

    Join our community of donors who give $1,000 or more annually. Dream Circle gifts go directly toward expanding our scholarship program and helping more students pursue their degrees.

  • Join the Annual Benefit

    Join us October 17, 2026 at Army Navy Country Club for an evening celebrating our scholars, featuring keynote speaker Peter Schechter, Co-Founder of Immigrant Food. Sponsorships and tickets are available now.
